Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FullRoster Sports mobile application (the "Sports App"), the FullRoster News mobile application (the "News App") and/or the FullRoster apps for Apple TV, Android TV and Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku (the "TV Apps"), operated by Krafty Apps, a division of Smokey Mountain Mags LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). The Sports App, the News App and the TV Apps are collectively referred to as the "Apps" or the "Services." If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Service

FullRoster Sports provides live scores, statistics, and information for NCAA sports across Divisions I, II, and III. Live game coverage spans basketball, football, soccer, ice hockey, lacrosse, volleyball, baseball, softball, field hockey, water polo, and beach volleyball. Additional news, rankings, and historical results coverage spans wrestling, tennis, swimming & diving, gymnastics, cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field, bowling, fencing, and rifle. The Services include:

  • FullRoster Sports: An iOS and Android application offering live scores, game alerts, standings, stat leaders, player statistics, podcast episodes, and Sporti — a voice assistant that answers questions about college sports — with both free and premium subscription-based features. The Sports App contains no advertising.
  • FullRoster News: A free iOS and Android application offering a personalized college sports news feed built from the teams, conferences, and sports you follow, combining articles published by college athletics programs with our own automatically generated recaps and standings coverage. It has no accounts and no subscriptions, and is supported by non-personalized advertising shown between stories.
  • FullRoster on TV: Applications for Apple TV, Android TV and Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku streaming players and Roku TVs that show a board of live and recent games, with live video where a broadcaster makes it available, game statistics and player details. They contain no advertising. They can be paired with the Sports App to choose the games they show, as described in Section 23.

3. Independent Service

FullRoster is an independent service developed by Krafty Apps. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), any NCAA member institution, any athletic conference, any college or university, any athletic program, or any other sports organization. We are simply a company that created tools to help fans follow college sports.

All team names, logos, and trademarks displayed in the Services are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for identification and informational purposes.

4. User Accounts

Some features of the Sports App require you to create an account — using Sign in with Apple on iOS, Google Sign-In on Android. Your account security is managed by that provider through your Apple ID or Google Account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The News App has no accounts and no sign-in. Your followed teams are stored against an anonymous identifier that the app generates for your device, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV and Roku apps have no accounts and no sign-in; pairing one with a phone uses your Sports App account, on the phone. On Apple TV you may sign in with Apple to your Sports App account, and everything in this section applies to it as it does on iOS.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Premium Features

The Sports App offers premium features through subscription plans. All subscriptions are processed entirely through the platform's own store — Apple's App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android. The News App is provided free of charge, is supported by advertising, and does not offer subscriptions or in-app purchases. On Apple TV, the Sports App subscription is offered through the App Store and is the same subscription as on iOS. The Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV and Roku apps are provided free of charge and sell nothing; they do not use Google Play Billing, Amazon In-App Purchasing or Roku Pay.

5.2 Payment Processing

Krafty Apps does NOT collect, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address. All payment processing, billing, and financial transactions are handled exclusively by the store you purchased through — Apple via the App Store, or Google via Google Play. For questions about payments, billing, or charges, please contact Apple Support or Google Play support, whichever you purchased through. The exceptions are FullRoster School Edition (Section 21), which athletics departments buy on our website, and FullRoster Control Room (Section 22), which is sold only on our website; their payments are processed by Stripe, and we never receive or store full card numbers.

5.3 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for premium features. At the end of the free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.

5.4 Billing

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis by Apple or Google
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Price changes will be communicated in advance

5.5 Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings on iOS, or through Google Play subscription settings on Android. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. For refund requests, please contact Apple or Google directly, as the store handles all refund processing.

6. Sporti, the In-App Assistant

Sporti is a voice assistant inside the Sports App that answers questions about college sports. It is available to subscribers, on both iOS and Android.

6.1 How It Works

You ask a question out loud. Your device turns your speech into text — on the device where it can, otherwise using Apple's speech recognition on iOS and Google's on Android — and that text is sent to our servers and on to Anthropic, which runs the AI model that writes the answer. The answer is read back to you by your device's built-in voice. Our Privacy Policy describes exactly what is sent, stored and retained.

6.2 Availability and Limits

Sporti is a premium feature and is limited to 50 questions per day per account. It depends on third-party AI infrastructure and on your device's speech services, so it may be unavailable, slow, or degraded at times. We may change, limit, suspend or withdraw Sporti, or change these limits, at any time. It is one part of the subscription and not the whole of it; its unavailability is not by itself grounds for a refund, which in any case is handled by Apple or Google under section 5.5.

6.3 Answers Are Not Reliable Facts

Sporti generates its answers with an AI model. It can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and it can state something incorrect with apparent confidence. Answers are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

Do not rely on Sporti for betting, wagering, fantasy sports, financial, academic, recruiting, or any other decision that matters. We make no warranty as to the accuracy of any answer, and we are not liable for anything you do on the strength of one. If a fact matters to you, verify it against the official source.

6.4 Acceptable Use of the Assistant

In addition to section 7, you agree not to:

  • Use Sporti to generate unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or deliberately misleading content
  • Attempt to extract its underlying instructions, or to make it behave as a general-purpose assistant outside college sports
  • Submit other people's personal information, or any confidential or sensitive information, in a question
  • Use it to build a competing product, to bulk-extract our data, or to train another model
  • Automate, script, or share access to it, or attempt to circumvent its usage limits

You are responsible for what you ask. We may suspend access to Sporti for any account that breaches this section, without affecting the rest of the subscription.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission
  • Use automated systems to access the Services
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

8. Intellectual Property

The FullRoster, FullRoster Sports, FullRoster News, and Sporti names, logos, and designs are the property of Krafty Apps.

Apple TV is a trademark of Apple Inc.; Android TV and Google TV are trademarks of Google LLC; Fire TV is a trademark of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates; and Roku is a trademark of Roku, Inc. FullRoster is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

Team names, team logos, player photos, and other sports-related imagery displayed in the Services are the property of their respective owners (schools, athletic programs, conferences, etc.) and are used solely for informational purposes. FullRoster Sports is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NCAA, any member institution, or any of these trademark owners.

9. Third-Party Content

The Services display sports data, statistics, and information obtained from various third-party sources. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any third-party content.

10. Linked Articles and Publisher Content

The News App surfaces headlines, summaries, and images from articles published by college athletics programs and other publishers, and links to those articles on the publishers' own websites. That content remains the property of its publisher. We do not control it, we do not guarantee its accuracy or availability, and we are not responsible for it.

Opening a linked story takes you to the publisher's website, which is governed by that publisher's own terms and privacy policy rather than ours. If you publish college athletics content and would like it removed from the News App, contact us at the address below.

11. AI-Generated Content

Certain features of the Services use artificial intelligence to generate content, including game recaps, previews, summaries, standings analysis, and other written coverage, as well as the answers given by Sporti. AI-generated content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content. You should not rely on AI-generated content for any important decisions.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The Services are free of viruses or harmful components
  • The information provided will be accurate or complete
  • Any answer given by Sporti will be accurate or complete

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KRAFTY APPS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Services
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers
  • Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Services
  • Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Any errors or omissions in any content
  • Any reliance placed on an answer given by Sporti

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Krafty Apps, Smokey Mountain Mags LLC, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time, and you may delete your Sports App account from inside the app or as described at fullrostersports.com/delete-account. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel that in the store, as described in section 5.5.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the Services. Sections 3, 8, and 12 through 21 survive termination.

16. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Services or any part thereof at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

17. Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website, with the "Last Updated" date at the top. Where a revision materially affects your rights, we will give notice in the app before it takes effect. By continuing to use the Services after changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

18. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

19. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

20. Apple App Store — Additional Terms

The following applies only where you obtained the Apps from Apple's App Store, and is required by Apple. Where it conflicts with anything above, this section governs for the iOS versions of the Apps.

  • These Terms are an agreement between you and Krafty Apps only, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Apps or their content.
  • Your licence to use the Apps is limited to a non-transferable licence to use them on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services for the Apps.
  • If the Apps fail to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the Apps, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to any warranty are our responsibility.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the Apps or your possession or use of them, including product liability claims, any claim that the Apps fail to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection or similar legislation.
  • In the event of a third-party claim that the Apps or your possession and use of them infringe that party's intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of that claim.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple has the right (and is deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

21. FullRoster School Edition

FullRoster School Edition ("School Edition") lets a college or university athletics department make Reels and Stories carrying the school's own branding, or no branding, in a web studio at fullrostersports.com. It is sold only on our website, only to the institution itself, and is not available in the Apps.

21.1 Eligibility and review

An application must be made by a staff member of the institution using an email address at the institution (normally a .edu address). We review every application by hand and may decline any application at our discretion, for example when we cannot confirm that the applicant acts for the institution. No payment is taken before an application is approved.

21.2 Price, billing and renewal

  • School Edition is billed yearly in advance, at the price shown when you pay (at launch, $600 per year including 5 staff seats, and $20 per year for each additional seat, up to 10 seats in total).
  • Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms. The subscription renews automatically each year until cancelled.
  • You can update the payment method, change the number of additional seats or cancel from the billing page linked on your school's School Edition page. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid year.
  • Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded, including for unused seats or a partial year.
  • If a renewal payment fails and is not resolved, School Edition ends for your school.

21.3 Staff seats

Each seat is a single-use access code for one staff member of the institution. You are responsible for who you give codes to and may remove a staff member at any time from your school's School Edition page, which ends their access.

21.4 Use of School Edition content

  • School Edition branding is only available on content about the institution's own teams, players, games and competitions. Scenes about other schools appear only where they are part of that content (for example an opponent in a game, or a conference standings table).
  • Subject to these Terms, the institution may use, post and share Reels and Stories it creates with School Edition on its own websites, apps and social media accounts to promote its own athletics programs, during the subscription and afterwards.
  • The institution may not resell School Edition content or access, present it as another organization's work, or use it to state or imply that any other school, conference or organization endorses it.
  • The statistics and results in School Edition content come from the same third-party sources as the Apps (Section 9). The institution is responsible for reviewing content before it publishes it and for how it uses it, including any names, likenesses and photos of its student-athletes and staff.
  • Team names and logos remain the property of their owners (Section 8). School Edition gives the institution no rights in other institutions' names or marks.

21.5 Availability

Finished videos stay available for download for at least 6 days after they are made; please download what you want to keep. We may change or discontinue features of School Edition as described in Section 16. If we discontinue School Edition, we will refund the unused part of the current paid year.

22. FullRoster Control Room

FullRoster Control Room ("Control Room") is a tool for people who broadcast or commentate on college games: live game boards, alerts, talking points and spotting boards in the Control Room apps for iPad and Mac, and printable spotting sheets on fullrostersports.com. It is sold only on our website. The Control Room apps do not sell anything; they require you to sign in with a FullRoster account that has an active Control Room subscription.

22.1 Your account

Control Room uses your FullRoster account (Sign in with Apple or Google), the same account as the Sports App. A subscription is for the person who holds the account and may not be shared, resold or used to provide Control Room to others.

22.2 Price, billing and renewal

  • Control Room is billed monthly or yearly in advance, at the price shown when you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms.
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can update the payment method or cancel at any time from the billing page linked on your Control Room account page; a cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and you keep access until then.
  • Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are not refunded, including for a partial period.
  • If a renewal payment fails and is not resolved, the subscription ends. Deleting your FullRoster account cancels an active Control Room subscription immediately.
  • We will tell you before a price change applies to your subscription.

22.3 Using Control Room on air

  • You may use the statistics, alerts, talking points and spotting sheets in your own broadcasts, commentary and game preparation.
  • Control Room's numbers come from the same third-party sources as the Apps (Section 9), and "bests" and "highs" mean the best in our data, which may not cover every season. Talking points are written with AI (Section 11) and checked against our numbers, but they can still be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for what you say on air.
  • You may not resell or redistribute Control Room data, sheets or access, or use them to build a competing product.

22.4 Availability

Live data depends on the feeds we receive and can be delayed or missing for some games. We may change or discontinue features of Control Room as described in Section 16. If we discontinue Control Room, we will refund the unused part of the current paid period.

23. FullRoster on TV

23.1 The TV platforms

  • These Terms are an agreement between you and Krafty Apps only, and not with Apple, Google, Amazon or Roku. None of them is responsible for the TV Apps or their content or has any obligation to provide maintenance or support for them. Section 20 applies to the Apple TV app as it does to the iOS Apps.
  • Your TV device, your account with its maker and the store you installed the app from are governed by that company's own terms and privacy policy. Using a TV App requires a working internet connection and a device that supports it.

23.2 Pairing a phone

  • Pairing uses your Sports App account, set up from the Sports App on your phone or, on Apple TV, from the TV once you are signed in. Choosing the games a TV shows is part of the Sports App subscription (Section 5); without it, the TV Apps show our featured games.
  • A TV is paired to one account at a time. Only pair a TV you own or are allowed to use, and unpair it before you sell or give the TV away. Anyone who can see the TV can see the games on its board and the "Paired with" label.

23.3 Live video

  • We do not produce or host video. Live streams are provided by the broadcasters that carry each game — for example schools, conferences, BoxCast, Hudl, NCAA.com and YouTube — and remain their property, under their own terms. The TV Apps simply play what the broadcaster makes publicly available.
  • Whether a game has video, its quality and how long it stays available are up to the broadcaster. Some games have no stream, and a stream can start late, drop or be removed at any time. Scores and statistics on the board come from the sources described in Section 9 and may run ahead of or behind the video.
  • You may watch streams in the TV Apps for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not record, rebroadcast or publicly exhibit them.

24. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
